Peter Hansen is a seasoned trial lawyer with focused knowledge and a record of results in work-related injury, personal injury and Social Security disability claims. In more than 33 years of practice, he has proudly stood up for thousands of working people and accident victims under Oregon's workers' compensation law, the federal Longshore and Harbor Workers Act, and Social Security Disability and SSI claims.

Peter has represented clients throughout Oregon in jury and non-jury trials in federal and state courts, and administrative hearings and appeals in various forums. He has served as President of the Oregon Workers' Compensation Attorneys Association, and written and lectured on the subject of workers' compensation law. He is also a member of the National Organization for Social Security Claimants Representatives, the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, Washington Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice (American Trial Lawyers Association.)

Peter grew up in North Bend, Oregon, the son and grandson of longshoremen. He walked his first picket line at eight years old. After graduating from college with a degree in psychology, he was advised by legendary Oregon trial lawyer, Frank Pozzi, that if he really wanted to help people he had to become a lawyer. After law school he worked at the Pozzi, Wilson, Atchison law firm for five years before establishing his own firm. He lives in Portland, Oregon. He enjoys wine growing and spends time on his tractor whenever possible.
