Oregon Work Injury Attorney
For more than 35 years, attorney Peter Hansen has represented clients throughout Oregon in jury and non-jury trials in federal and state courts, and administrative hearings and appeals in various forums. He has served as President of the Oregon Workers' Compensation Attorneys Association, and written and lectured on the subject of workers' compensation law. He is also a member of the National Organization for Social Security Claimants Representatives, the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, Washington Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice (American Trial Lawyers Association.)
Peter grew up in North Bend, Oregon, the son and grandson of longshoremen. He walked his first picket line at eight years old. After graduating from college with a degree in psychology, he was advised by legendary Oregon trial lawyer, Frank Pozzi, that if he really wanted to help people he had to become a lawyer. After law school he worked at the Pozzi, Wilson, Atchison law firm for five years before establishing his own firm. He lives in Portland, Oregon. He enjoys wine growing and spends time on his tractor whenever possible.
For more than 40 years, attorney Evohl Malagon has represented thousands of injured clients in federal and state courts. Evohl is a seasoned professional known for his strong advocacy speaking to the legislature and lobbying on behalf of injured workers. Since 1998, he has been recognized as a Distinguished Trial Lawyer by the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association.
Evohl was born in France and grew up in New York City. He later served in the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and at Fort Jackson Training Center in Columbia, South Carolina. Evohl later traveled west with his wife and finished his education at the University of Oregon School of Law at Eugene. After graduation, he was appointed to the Attorney General's Office as an assistant attorney general, where he gained an in-depth knowledge of the workers' compensation system. He became a strong advocate for workers' rights and remains committed to securing workers' compensation benefits for injured workers.
